He does indeed.

The sight of the small child in her arms brings the shadow of a smile to the corners of his mouth, but he approaches her with caution regardless. He clears his throat. "Beg pardon," he begins, "but I think you're waiting for me."

She looks up and gives him a smile that's really all eyes and no mouth. The baby manages to take hold of the little doll and studies it intensely.

"I think I was. I'm Pel. You're looking for a blacksmith, right?"

"I am," he confirms for her, then adds somewhat cautiously, "though perhaps some introductions are in order first."

It seems only prudent, given she is a young woman alone, with a child, and an elven one on top of everything else. "I'm Loghain Mac Tir." This, he admits, he perhaps should have told her long before he agreed to this venture.

That's a familiarish name. It takes Pel some time to work it out. He's Fereldan, he's older, his name is familiar.

"I'm Pel," she repeats stupidly to kill time before she figures it out. "Wait. You're the human general? Or is that someone else?"

Why would he deny it, having drawn attention to it now? He gives his head a nod. "It's been some years since I held that rank or any other titles, but yes."

So this is the guy who won Ferelden back from Orlais. She likes that about him. He also retreated at Ostagar and left the shem king to die. Since that didn't seem to line up with his previous actions, she's always assumed it's some stupid shem politics. Again. Pel gives him a nod.

"Well. After you, then," she says.

"Wa wah wao oowaah," adds Little Sina.
